Matthew 14:22-33
Devotional: Life often brings storms that shake our faith and stability. In this passage, Peter steps out of the boat in faith but begins to sink when he focuses on the wind and waves. Like Peter, we sometimes let circumstances overwhelm us, causing our faith to waver. Reflect on current "storms" in your life. Are you focusing on the problems or on Jesus? Remember, even when Peter began to sink, Jesus immediately reached out to catch him. Pray for the courage to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, especially when life feels turbulent. Ask for His strength to help you stand firm, knowing He is always there to uphold you.
