Standing Firm in God's Promises
Reading: James 1:6-8
Devotional:
James warns against being double-minded in our faith, likening it to being tossed about by the wind. This instability can prevent us from receiving from God.
Examine your heart today. Are there areas where you're wavering in your faith? Perhaps you believe God can do something, but you're unsure if He will do it for you. Remember, God is no respecter of persons. What He's done for others, He can do for you.
Challenge yourself to stand firm on God's promises today. Choose a promise from Scripture that applies to your situation and meditate on it throughout the day. Ask God to solidify your faith, making you immovable in your trust in Him.

I pray to just be a doer of his word, and not just hear his word I want to have more patience for the things I don’t have patience for, to not get angry, in the things that make me angry like when people don’t understand what I’m trying to say I lose my patience and I get angry because they don’t want to hear what I’m saying they just want to believe whatever they want to believe instead of taking into consideration what I have to say although it doesn’t matter if they consider it or not I need to focus on not worrying about those little things when I’m not feeling heard
