The Power of the Holy Spirit
Reading: Acts 1:8 and Acts 2:1-4
Devotional:
The Day of Pentecost marks the fulfillment of Jesus' promise to send the Holy Spirit. This same power that transformed the disciples is available to us today. As you reflect on these passages, consider how you're relying on the Holy Spirit in your daily life. Are you attempting to live the Christian life in your own strength, or are you allowing the Spirit to empower you? Ask God to fill you anew with His Spirit today, enabling you to be an effective witness for Christ in your sphere of influence.
