Letting Go of Comfort
Reading: Luke 9:57-62
Devotional:
Following Jesus often requires us to step out of our comfort zones. The would-be disciples in this passage all had reasons to delay their commitment. What's holding you back from fully following Christ?I s it fear, attachment to material possessions, or concern for others' opinions? Remember, Jesus calls us to put Him first, even above family and personal comfort.
Today, identify one area where you need to let go of comfort for the sake of your faith, and take a small step in that direction.
