The Power of Persistent Prayer
Reading: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Devotional: In our fast-paced world, we often expect immediate responses, even from God. But today's reading reminds us to "pray without ceasing." This doesn't mean praying 24/7, but rather maintaining a constant attitude of prayer and openness to God. When facing challenges or waiting for answers, remember that God's timing is perfect. Like Daniel, who prayed for 21 days before receiving an answer, we must persist in prayer. Today, commit to bringing every situation to God, big or small. Practice turning your thoughts into prayers throughout the day, and trust that even when you don't feel an immediate response, God is listening and working in ways you may not yet see.
