The Faithful and True God
Reading: Revelation 19:11-16
Devotional: Today we focus on Jesus as the Faithful and True. In Revelation, we see a powerful image of Christ returning as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. This isn't the gentle Jesus of many paintings, but the almighty ruler with eyes of fire and a sharp sword. Reflect on how this image of Christ impacts your faith. How does knowing Jesus is both loving and powerful affect your daily walk? Remember, this same mighty God fights for you in your battles. Take comfort in His strength and faithfulness to His promises.
