Adopted and Beloved
Reading: Romans 8:15-17
Devotional: You did not receive a spirit of fear and bondage, but the Spirit of adoption. This means you can cry out "Abba, Father"—an intimate term expressing deep relationship and trust. God is not a distant deity; He is your Father who delights in you. Like adopted children who find security in their new family, you belong completely to God's household. Your adoption wasn't based on your merit but on His love and Christ's sacrifice. Today, practice approaching God with both humility and boldness. Come humbly, recognizing His majesty; come boldly, knowing you are His beloved child with full access to His throne. What does it mean to you personally that God chose to adopt you into His family?
