Transformation Through Renewal
Reading: Romans 12:2
Devotional: Transformation doesn't happen overnight - it's a process. You came into the kingdom with baggage, old ways of thinking, and slave mentalities that don't belong in your new identity. The only pathway to lasting change is the renewing of your mind through God's Word. Like removing mold, surface cleaning won't work; you must go deep to eliminate every spore. This requires daily dying to the old man and daily feeding on Scripture. Your mind is like a reservoir holding everything you've experienced, but you get to choose what flows out. Will it be the stagnant water of past failures, or the living water of God's truth? Renewal isn't just for your benefit - it's so you can prove God's good, acceptable, and perfect will.
