Day 4: His Presence Makes the Difference
Reading: Exodus 33:15-16
Devotional: Moses understood what made Israel different wasn't their tents, fashion, or rules—it was God's presence in the middle of their camp. He boldly declared, "If Your presence doesn't go with us, we're just like everybody else." Moses understood without God's presence, Israel was just like every other nation. The same applies today. What truly separates believers isn't Christian phrases, fish bumper stickers, or Bible apps, it's His presence. You are separated to be saturated with God so you can host the Holy Spirit everywhere you go. People saturated with God. People who host the Holy Spirit. When you walk into a room, light walks in. Hope walks in. The Holy Spirit walks in. His presence transforms your home, conversations, decisions, and reactions when you're hurt. Here's the challenging question: Are you living on autopilot, running a religious life that could function without Him really showing up? You're called to be a presence carrier.
Reflection Question:
Can I honestly say God's presence is the defining difference in how I live daily?
Does your daily life require God's presence, or could it function without Him?
