Worship, Surremder & Removing The Ashes-Day #5 Fuel For The Flame

Day 5: Worship, Surrender, and Removing the Ashes
Reading: Hebrews 13:15; Luke 9:23; 1 John 1:9

Devotional: Worship in the secret place isn't about a band or lights. In the secret place, worship becomes real. Ther’s no crowd, no performance, just you and God, Praising Him for who He is, not just what He does. Then comes surrender, the toughest fuel to add. Pray, "Lord, search me. Take what doesn't please You. Here's my attitude, my habits, my schedule take them they are all yours." Every time you surrender, you throw another log on the fire. But you must also remove the ashes. Old wounds, defenses, secret compromises, and hidden bitterness choke the flame. The priest had to clear yesterday's ashes before adding fresh wood.  Don't run from God with your sin; run to Him and let Him clean your altar. Confession brings cleansing.  The secret place turns moments of fire into a lifestyle of fire. Miracles become the overflow of a life saturated with God. Today, surrender something and let God remove the ashes choking your flame. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any ashes on your altar. Confess them to Him, receive forgiveness, and watch your fire burn brighter.

Challenge: Set a daily 15-minute secret place appointment this week. Five minutes worship, five minutes in the Word, five minutes prayer and listening. Show up consistently. Write down what God shows you. What you write, you remember. What you remember, you can walk out. Remember: you can't live today on yesterday's fire. Return to the secret place daily for fresh fuel for your flame.
