Waiting On HIS Presence-HE is worth the Wait

I am excited yet saddened at the same moment. Our Heavenly Father desires to visit with us, all of us, yes even you and even me. Unfortunately for some, having Him visit takes too long, and we have too much to do, or we just do not know how to sit still and wait. Recently we have taken off on a journey to chase after our Father. Some of us have dove in and have not stopped chasing. Others started out strong and have begun to transform form a burning fire to a smoldering pile of Smokey embers with a small flickering flame. My prayer is that wherever you are in your pursuit that the wind of God will blow in and turn your fire into an inferno.
Last night we had our Wednesday night worship service at World Harvest Worship Center. We went through the current chapter of God Chasers and ended at the altar to seek Him. After 15-20 minutes at the altar. HIS presence was there but not at the level I knew He wanted to come. HE was there but not at the level I desired and most desperately needed. As I looked around, I could sense that some were satisfied with the moment and had other things to do, and other places to be. It was at that moment I said, "You are all dismissed and free to go if you need to go, but I am not leaving until He comes. Shortly after that some people left, leaving just a handful of us seeking and desiring Him to visit us.
As we continued to press in. As we continued to pray and worship Him, His presence continued to increase. His presence began to consume the sanctuary and all of those that were there. By  this point there was four of us left. He continued to fill the room as we continued to invite Him and worship Him.  After about one hour and 15 minutes I started to think my vision was getting blurry because there was a haziness or fog like atmosphere in the building. I have experienced being in a cloud or fog before but it was darker so I asked "Is anyone else seeing this or are my eyes getting blurry?" The others responded, " Yes we see it too!" There also was mist in the building. One person proclaimed that when they were laying on the floor they felt like little drops of water falling on their face.  We continued to worship and pray and He continued to come!
During this whole time we were continuously live streaming our weekly broadcast. I began to minister, worship God, speak, sing and pray in tongues. It was so difficult to stand, at times the keyboards were keeping me up. It was an awesome time! I have gotten reports back from people in Queens NY who felt HIS presence and spent the majority of the time on their faces on the living room floor. There was someone in Florida who felt the presence so strong that they were on their knees crying and just praising God. I think that is awesome. The same Spirit, the same Presence, the same Father visited us all!!!
Back to my initial comment. I am excited because of what happened and I know that it is just the beginning of great things and such a supernatural encounter with Him!!! I am not going to miss it! I am not going to give in to the world and its schedule. However, I am saddened for those who will not press in, who will stay where they are at their level of complacency, and those who will turn and run the other way. I am also saddened for the Father. His heart is to spend time with His children. His heart is to inhabit the praises of Hos people and fill them with His presence. His desire is to be with us, yet there will be those who choose not to meet Him where he wants and so desperately desires. This saddens me and I am sure breaks His Heavenly Heart.
My word of encouragement to you is it not too late. Do not give up, keep pressing on, pressing in and waiting on Him! He is worth the wait!!!

Everyone has to move towards a relationship with God at their own pace and comfort level. Some people are afraid of what they are seeing and Feeling and just don’t know what is happening.

Praise God! What a glorious encounter that which you have described Pastor! I knew it would happen because I’ve always known and felt His Presence! And you are correct He desires us to press in no matter what is going on around us! He is looking for those that are willing and wanting to seek His Face and know that He is God! Haleluya!
