The Two-Way Street of Commitment
Reading: Deuteronomy 7:9-10; James 4:8
Devotional: God's faithfulness to us is unwavering—He keeps His covenant to a thousand generations. Yet commitment flows both directions. We often want God committed to blessing us while we remain uncommitted to Him. Drawing near to God requires intentional movement on our part. When you start walking toward Him, He walks toward you. This isn't about earning His love; it's about positioning yourself to experience the fullness of relationship with Him. Today, examine your commitment level. Are you clocking in and out of your faith like an employee doing the bare minimum? Or are you going above and beyond, investing your whole life into the kingdom? God never leaves the intersection where you left Him—He's waiting for you to return.
