Day 2: Grace Without License
Reading: Romans 6:1-2, 15; Ephesians 2:8-10
Devotional: Grace is unmerited, undeserved favor—none of us have earned it. But grace was never meant to be a license for careless living. "Gravy grace" thinking says, "I can do whatever I want because grace covers it." This mindset crucifies Christ afresh. Grace should produce such gratitude in our hearts that we desire to live righteously, not because we must, but because we want to honor the One who paid such a price. We shouldn't plan our lives around needing grace; we should live so thankfully that we strive not to abuse it. Your works will be tested by fire—what will remain? Let grace transform you, not give you permission to stay the same. Faith without works is dead; let your life reflect the grace you've received.
